ANTIQUING AT THE CANNERY ROW ANTIQUE MALL

  The Cannery Row Antique Mall is two floors comprised of over 150 vendors which periodically rotate. Individuals who enjoy antiquing will find unique treasures including vintage jewelry, books, clothing, furniture, eclectic baubles and much more. One can spend an entire afternoon browsing the many items for purchase here and staff is readily available with a list of vendors and a detailed map to locate them. Contact the mall for hours.

CARMEL WALKS

  Discover the special charms of Carmel-by-the-Sea on a 2-hour guided walking tour thru secret pathways, hidden courtyards, award-winning gardens, and by enchanting fairytale cottages...the homes, haunts, and history of famous artists, writers, and movie stars. HARBOR SEAL PUPPING SEASON

  For the Monterey Bay area, the harbor seal "pupping", or breeding, season begins in March, when harbor seals begin to congregate in sheltered coves and quiet beaches. Within a few weeks, mother harbor seals are giving birth and will continue to do so through the first week of May. You can view this springtime event along the Point Reyes National Seashore.

HISTORIC GARDEN LEAGUE TOURS

The Historic Garden League provides tours of the gardens surrounding
five of the properties included in the Monterey State Historic Park: Whaling Station, Custom House, Casa Soberanes, First Theater and the Memory Garden at the Pacific House. The Doud House, owned by the Monterey History and Art Association, is a sixth garden that can be included in self-guided tours. Reservations required for docent led tours.

NATURE WALK AT POINT LOBOS STATE RESERVE

  Point Lobos is home to over two hundred fifty different animal, marine mammal and bird species, and over three hundred fifty plant species have been identified at the Reserve. Next to the spectacular scenic beauty of the Point, this presence of wildlife is among the area's most arresting features. Here it is possible to observe in a primitive environment many plant and animal species.
