  Housed in a historic 1920's carriage house, The Monterey Peninsula Art Foundation Gallery is a cooperative gallery in which some of our members have agreed to share expenses and sell their work. Gallery artists provide the public with local paintings, ceramics, photography, jewelry and other artwork including mixed media.

  Climb Hawk Tower, reminiscent of ancient Irish stone towers, stroll through an English cottage garden rich in color, texture and fragrance.  Experience the atmosphere that inspired some of America's finest poetry as you step back in time and follow the romance of Carmel's poet, Robinson Jeffers. Tours are conducted hourly every Friday & Saturday.

CARMEL MISSION BASILICA

  Carmel Mission Basilica reflects the beautiful adobe architecture and houses many antique religious effigies and altars. The tomb of it's
founder, Father Sierra Junipero is displayed in the museum building
as are the living quarters of the monks which are preserved in their
original decor and artifacts. Tours are available or guests are welcome
to walk the grounds during their operating hours at their leisure.
